London Composite Bonding

If you are looking for a fast and effective way to change your smile then look no further than Composite Bonding.

Whether you have chipped, stained, or misaligned teeth, composite bonding (also known as dental bonding, cosmetic bonding, or tooth bonding) can help restore their natural beauty. The process involves applying a tooth-coloured resin material to the affected areas, which is then shaped and polished to blend seamlessly with your existing teeth. The result is a flawless smile that looks and feels completely natural.

Why Choose
Composite Bonding

Composite bonding is a safe and effective solution that can help you achieve the smile of your dreams. The treatment requires no preparation of your teeth and the procedure is pain-free.

The Oliver Cosmetic Dental Clinic are master artists in composite bonding and will shape your perfect smile with this popular treatment. Invest in yourself and your smile – you won't regret it!

Composite bonding often lasts between 4 and 7 years, after which the composite material can stain. We offer a composite bonding replacement treatment for when you are no longer happy with the look of your bonded smile. The Oliver Cosmetic Dental Clinic team can touch up your existing bonding or replace it to create a sparkly white smile once again. This is an effective, non-invasive procedure completed in one single appointment.

Composite Bonding

What are the benefits?

There are many benefits of dental bonding treatment such as:

• Natural looking results
• Fast and effective
• Minimally invasive
• Little to no discomfort
• Cost effective

How does composite bonding work?

Composite bonding is often likened to composite veneers and works in a very similar way – with a tooth-coloured piece of composite being applied to each tooth receiving treatment, to change the tooth shape and shade.

The exact colour of the composite resin material will be matched to seamlessly blend with the rest of your natural teeth and your cosmetic dentist will clean and roughen each tooth receiving treatment before applying a small amount of boding agent.
The composite resin is placed onto the tooth’s surface and hardened under a special curing light before being gently sculpted and polished to enhance the natural appearance of your smile.

You will then walk away with your new smile in one appointment. The treatment is completely reversible and removable and doesn't affect your original tooth.

Can composite bonding whiten your teeth?

Composite bonding is a cosmetic procedure used to repair minor imperfections, such as cracked, chipped, crooked, gapped, or discoloured teeth.

Although it’s not primarily intended for teeth whitening, composite bonding can make your teeth appear brighter.

Combining tooth whitening and composite bonding is an effective, pain-free way to achieve a stunning white smile whilst also improving the shape of your teeth.

However, most cosmetic dentists will recommend that you have any teeth whitening treatments first. Once you’ve achieved your desired level of whiteness, the composite resin can then be matched to this shade and address any other cosmetic issues.

After achieving a beautiful and radiant smile, to protect your newly-whitened bonded teeth, you must maintain good oral hygiene habits, such as brushing and flossing daily. Quitting smoking will also help, as will avoiding foods and drinks that stain (i.e. tea, coffee, red wine, curry, beetroot, etc.).

How much does composite bonding cost?

At The Oliver Cosmetic Dental Clinic, we are always 100% transparent about our fees and strive to make cosmetic dental treatment as accessible as possible.

Although the cost can vary from patient to patient, composite bonding is one of the cheapest treatment options available – typically only required for a small number of natural teeth, which helps to keep costs down.

Plus, composite bonding can be completed in just one visit, unlike other cosmetic procedures like porcelain veneers and crowns that require multiple appointments. And the need for injections or drilling is rare, making it a cost-effective and comfortable experience for the patient.
